One of the best views on the Cape; attentive, happy servers; quality food, great live music play list…. What more could I ask for 🤔 Ice cold PBR tall boy? He’ll yeah!

First time, and won't be the last time, here. Great atmosphere and the view is fantastic. The food was good. You have to order the gator bites with the "Boom sauce", excellent choice. Brad was an excellent server. New taste today. Red fish with yellow rice rice and black beans. The wings and the hush puppies were EXCELLENT. Mary Ann did a good job

What a gorgeous location!!! If you’re in beautiful Matlacha, this is a great place to eat!!! The service was great, and the food was delicious! I had the mango coconut whitefish, and it was so good!! There’s nothing like enjoying a meal while you’re watching pelicans and dolphins!!! Amazing!!!

Ok. I know it looks like I only post great reviews of places but honestly I do my research before I go anywhere. This place is awesome. That atmosphere is great. We sat outside and they even provided insect repellant spray if the “noseeums” come for you. I had the boom boom shrimp. My buddy had the fish tacos. My wife had the sliders and my friends wife had the sunfish salad. We each loved what we had. Pictures below. Charles was our server and kept tabs on us. Service was great.

New name recently with new owner. New sign 2 days ago. Lot of physical mods inside. Don't know about menu yet. It'll be good either way.
No but there food is good and there staff is very friendly and helpful
Miss the prime rib... but love several of their servers such as Denise and Karen! Do miss some of the Sandy Hook menu items such as prime rib, apple cider vinegar dressing, warm bread, and the early bird specials ... alot if regulars are not regulars anymore. I do understand the old Sandy Hook restaurant was sold and modified after another restaurant the new owners own on Ft. Myers Beach, Yucatan. As full timers, I miss the go to restaurant we depended on for consistency and great food. Been there 3 times since the Yucatan sign went up and haven't found my new go to food there...
Excellent. Everyone is wearing masks. Tables are six feet apart or more
We have changed our name to Yucatan Waterfront, and are now open 7 days a week from 11-9
Yes
Large variety, seafood, steaks, baskets, burgers.
Their number is listed on the general information page on Google Maps. You can also check their website.
Thank you! We love the one on FMB and just made reservations at the Matlacha location for our rehearsal dinner
It has definitely changed under the new ownership. Less menu selections. Less a seafood place. We would rather go to Woody's in St James City or El Rico just north of the main intersection on Pine Island great food n local beers.
