I like playing on the computers but some of the other kids are kinda obnoxious. But the new guards seem to be able to stop them so it doesn't happen as much now.

The staff is great, but members of the public are a nuisance in that building. Always someone swearing loudly or arguing loudly. Just as constructive criticism, I think they are given too many chances before finally being asked to leave. They are adults. They do not need 5 chances to stop making a disturbance.

Yes. VITA is doing taxes at the library on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You must make an appointment ahead of time by dialing 211 (just 3 numbers like 911). ~The Information Desk

Yes, there are multiple copies of Flat Stanley available throughout the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System.
A replacement wallet card is $1, and a replacement keychain card is free.
There are several book clubs that use the library for materials but there is not currently a library-run club. Programming for adults includes Happy Stampers, Toastmasters, adult coloring club, a genealogy lab, and computer classes. Visit prendergastlibrary.org/events to see the programming calendar.
The library's Saturday hours are 10am to 4pm
Computer sessions last 1 hour, and as long as there is no one waiting for a computer, you can extend your session indefinitely (until we close!). There are 15 public computers, so there is typically not a wait to use a computer.
