Had lunch here on 6/21. The Tedster was awesome!! Started off with Mozzarella Sticks. Wife had the Lobstah' Mac which she loved. I got the King of Beef Burger which was super good. Made me wish I got the Prime Rib French Dip instead.

This place was great! We arrived just as it was opening to find an empty bar and very fast service. Great beer selection, the cooling rail for beer was awesome, and the bartender was nice. The food was very good, no complaints at all on time and taste. The prices were decent too. I really love the beer quotes on the wall.

Our service was EXCELLENT! I wished we lived closer so Jessica could be my new best friend. Got the Rueben and it was literally the best one I ever eaten. The baked Haddock was something out of this world. It was so fresh and flaky. We got meat lovers pizza and beef stew as well. Rave reviews all around!

The Village Tavern was absolutely wonderful! We were done in Salem an hour early for our reservation so we hung out at the bar until our table was ready. The bartender was very kind and attentive and we had a great time waiting which is not always the case in most places! Everyone we interacted with who worked there was friendly including our fantastic waitress. We did joke about the steak tips because the menu claims they are the "best in America" but it seems to be true because they were absolutely outstanding! My salad and burger were fantastic and so was the prime rib. We wanted to stay for trivia but had a ghost tour to get to (we should have stayed it would have been much more fun). I would absolutely go back if I was in Salem again and highly recommend it!

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have never had any problems. I suggest you contact the manager directly so they can address your concerns.
Yes. She sounds fun.
A lot of businesses in Salem, especially Downtown Salem, change up what they offer to accommodate the large amount of tourists who visit during the month of October. November is when things go back to their status quo. Since Village Tavern serves food, drinks, and alcohol it must take them an extra week or so to restock what they use/sell during the rest of the year. By the end of November I'm sure their in-house menu will be an accurate reflection of their online menu. I hope this helps! Enjoy Village Tavern!
This is the Google review page, please call the restaurant directly for reservations.
Contact restaurant directly would be my recommendation
Yes
Yes they have oysters. They also have a membership that you get oysters for $1 each. Membership is 60 I think for the year.
Its a good restaurant. Tell us how was your burger! My was good at the times I've been there.
