As is typical with most NM state campgrounds, the sites are super close and located right next to the road. We stayed in site #58, which is on the SE side of the CG, and borders the road. Very clean restrooms, drinking water available, and the host sells milk carton crates of firewood for $10. The host, Ken, was very helpful, providing lots of good info on the area. We fished all three days in the on site Gravel Pit Ponds, and up the road at the Palisades pull off area, and made life-long memories. We will be back.

Fabulous Campground! Great hosts and large campsites. Lake for fishing is nestled in the massive Ponderosa pines.

Dates of stay: 28-31 Jul 19: Decent campground. Some spots are close to each other, some have decent space. Easy walk to the small lake where it was fairly good fishing. Some real small ones and some decent pan size. A lot of fish floating dead due to poor catch and release techniques. Campfire ring had old ashes, cigarette butts, and trash in it when I arrived. As I walked my dogs during my 3-day stay, I noticed a lot of the campfire rings were never cleaned. Not the thing campers want to deal with when they arrive. Campground is close to road, but the road isn't terribly busy during the evening/night.

Very nice park, beavers, hummingbirds, trout fishing, very quiet & peaceful. A Great DRY campground, with water supplies (faucets for fill ups) with nice flush restrooms! AWESOME creek, plenty of wildlife.

Yes you can.
Yes
Yes, fishing is available, but if you plan on camping, bring your own water. They turn on water and electricity in May.
No black tank dump and the only grey water dump is not rv/ trailer accessible. No electric hookups, shared spigots for water
I believe so I've seen people with Dogs there. Just be aware there's no overnight camping right now. They close at 5. Don't travel for hours and hours like I did just to find out I couldn't camp 🤦♂️ yes I'm that guy lol.
I believe 39ft. Best campground we've been to in NM!
You can pay at the campsite with the host, but during busy times I'd suggest reserving first.
