Illegally attempted to transfer a deed base on a foreign court order. Nevada AG needed to intervene and reverse the transfer but can't remove a foreign document once filed with the Recorder. This is beyond gross incompetence. It's a blatantly illegal action requiring a District Attorney to stop them. Resulting in a permanently filled fraudulent document recorded with the search entry.

Can you please reply to my question regarding Taxes

Carla Anisman | Oct 23, 2020
Washoe County Assessor Office | Oct 23, 2020

Property taxes are based on the assessed value of the home, not the sales price. The Assessed Value is 35% of the Taxable, or full value. So, a house with a Taxable value of $700,000 would have an Assessed Value of $245,000. The 2020 tax rate for the City of Reno is 3.66% , so the taxes would be $8,967. There may also be additional fees and assessments, exemptions or partial abatements that could also affect the taxes. It is important to contact the Washoe County Treasurer's Office at 775-328-2510 to get the most recent tax data on the parcel you are thinking about buying.

Good afternoon. I am a veteran and I have a question. When using my veterans exemption to reduce my renewal registration on a vehicle, can that exemption be used on other vehicles as well during the same year, or is just good for one vehicle.

John Fee | Oct 23, 2020
Washoe County Assessor Office | Oct 23, 2020

The Veteran’s Exemption is good for $112.00 for this Fiscal Year off the Governmental Services Tax. That can be used on a single vehicle or several but cannot exceed the $112.00 total for all vehicles for this fiscal year.
