Nice park till the vagrants took over you can't even enjoy it they sleep on the benches, play equipment, picnic tables leave trash all over.

Nice place for walk. Nice for kids or making some bbq. Park is clean The only problem are the restrooms. Smell are bad and everything looks rusty.

Enjoyed the park.. 🎅 Always like going there for a walk with my family during ⛄the holiday 🌲season. It's all blissful and shining with Christmas decorations!

Quaint and leisurely trail. Our boys enjoyed running along and climbing whatever presented itself. It is a short jaunt to downtown with shops and restaurants, the library and the playground at fisherman's park is close by as well. Really nice way to spend a few hours.

What equipment?
There are a few: Neighbors Kitchen & Yard overlooks the river walk that goes through the park and is the closest. Old town Bastrop is 2 blocks up from the river with several other choices.
