I had to switch pharmacies because of Insurance. HEB Usually has lowest price but It has been a nightmare. Something is seriously wrong with management. App doesn't work I think because I don't get text communicating the status ie.pending approval, in process, or ready and date it will. If it has to be ordered I should be informed by text. These calls are computer generated if set up to do so. Pharmacy personnel always apologize profusely and say they are too busy. I guess pharmacy technicians are hard to find but the computer program could be updated to help them! More help , more follow up, etc. I don't know entire process of pharmacy so you will have to judge why they are so inefficient. Tech told me that auto refill will fill about 2 days before last dose. What if it has to be ordered? What if Doctor has to approve? I don't like to be without my meds for a few days. Help!

HEB really needs to step it up and get some more employees for this very busy pharmacy. The poor workers are doing their best to keep up. Bastrop is booming and H-E-B needs to give up some more money and staff this pharmacy. I’ve been up to H-E-B twice today to get an urgent prescription and then leaving without one of my medications. They quoted me two hours at 10:30 today. I did not go until 330 over 2 1/2 hours after they told me it be ready and it’s still not. they had one person inside working the cash register with a line all the way down the aisle, and the drive-through stays packed in both lanes at anytime of the day. The time before this it took three days for my prescription to be filled because they sent it to some other pharmacy to fill it and then ship it to HEB. It is evident they need the help H-E-B step up and get some more staff.

If I could give NO stars, that's what they deserve!! They always lie to customers about the wait time. REALLY??? a six hour wait time for an antibiotic that was called in 8 hours before?? "We have over a thousand prescriptions to fill " was the excuse I got. That sounds like a staffing problem which is clearly YOUR problem, not mine!! Needless to say, they will NEVER have my business again and I will encourage everyone I know NOT to go there!!

I never leave reviews, but feel the need to try to get someone’s attention. I have used various pharmacies over the past. Heb has always been my favorite, but I will never use this one again. My prescription is never ready, slow is an understatement, and busy isn’t an excuse. Yes I have needs, but can’t imagine the ones that have higher needs than myself, that can’t get the medication they need. I just transferred everything I have to Walmart. If anyone in management is listening, do better.
