poor customer service they don't have any lead person[s] and /or any supervisor ever available on site to provide simple assistant while checking in your luggage . my friend lost overseas flight [ via Washington connection ] because he received wrong information and zero help on how to fill an on line corvid form and because he did not know how to fill the on line form and with no united airline representative on site to explain to him what to do ,the luggage counter people refuse to check his bags and issue a boarding pass .for the record local low level personal around the united airline check in counter confirm that united airline [which they work for] does have lead people ,but they conceded that its hard to actually find them anywhere to get any help because they usually hide somewhere, and never around

BE AWARE 🧨 Flight from New York/Newark to Vietnam. I would give this airline minus stars if I could. We paid extra to get the 1 stop over flight from New York/Newark to Vietnam, layover in Japan. However, United added on another stop in Chicago without notification ahead. In addition, when we arrived in Japan, we missed the fight to Vietnam because of that extra stop. They rebooked another in 24hrs (no same day flight), gave us a blanket and told us to sleep in the terminal. This is unacceptable!!! They should have given us a hotel room!!!! 🤯🤯🤯 My mom is very exhausted from the trip. This is not what we were promised when we bought the tickets.

The flight UA1428 SEP 21 FROM SFO TO NEWARK was delayed by 2 hours, since the air valves distributing air inside were not working, and then on landing 2 hours late the aux., cables were not ready in advance so pilot could shut down engine and open gates. Post 2 hour delay on a 7 hour flight another 30 minutes to deplane. Ideally this place should have been put of service or repair for such issues. This is a grave concern and torture for all passengers onboard

All rechargeable batteries should be in carry on. For persons carrying hobby equipment batteries should also put the batteries in lipo bags as carry on, this would apply to hobby aircraft such as drones.
There wheel chair & lost baggage claim service in Newark airport is extremely poor!! My experience today was horrible with the employees I was faced with it was my first time not tipping!! I had to "walk" by my self vs being wheeled as I should of out in my wheel chair to go mk a complaint about my lost luggage to the appropriate ppl

Unfortunately the airline industry is like this. Especially if they get too big. Sounds like you had an unfortunate issue which left you less than thrilled. Unfortunately all you can do is complain to United and hopefully they make good on making you happier. If not, then go to another airline would make them really sorry. Unfortunately all the airlines are the same. Smaller airlines might make it better. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstances. Maybe you'll have better luck.
