Is Select Health like Physical therapy? Because I already go to Physical therapy & Pain management.

Thank you for the question and the short answer is no we are not akin to PT as we provide several procedures that aim to allow for true healing to occur. Many of our patients have been to PT before ours but did not get the results desired although each person is individual and your needs would be judged and recommendations made accordingly. How do you treat neuropathy. I have spoken to several Doctors and there is no cure for this problem . I don't even know if my insurance will cover the cost and also Medicare advantages does not pay. I understand that your treatment is very painful.

Tom There are several treatments within our arsenal depending on the severity of your neuropathy. Many patients do have insurance coverage and although there is no cure, if the damage isn’t too great we hope to improve nerve function and manage symptoms. I don’t believe patients would describe any part of the treatment painful although that is a subjective feeling. We wish you the best and hope we can help.
