My mother has been a resident for several years at The Pointe. The care and friendships she had made really made this transition much easier than expected. The staff and other residents are part of her family. The leadership team and staff are great and engaging with both the residents and families.

I have been visiting The Pointe for about 8 years as a hospice employee. The people here are down to earth and make you feel like family. The care that I have seen the med aide Jamie and CNA Tristan give has always been excellent. Kat is so amazing with her spunk and creativity for getting the residents moving with all kinds of activities. Jessica is always welcoming no matter what role she is in. Wendy the Executive Director and nurse of the community, always gives the best care to her patients and their families. She will always put them first and that is something that is exceptional to find. It is an honor to be able to be a part of this community.

I have been coming to The Pointe as a home health nurse for several years. The staff who work here treat the residents like their own family. Food is AMAZING and Chef Frankie makes THE BEST PUMPKIN PIE. Actually, everything he makes is DELICIOUS! His cook Jamey makes great soups! Jessica, who has been here forever, first as Activities Director and then as the Assistant Director, consistently goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel comfortable when they move in. Doug, business manager, has a great sense of humor. He likes to wear funny socks, and the residents enjoy his monthly doughnut group, as well as when he cooks on the grill. Wendy, the ED, is compassionate and is someone who definitely doesn’t just sit behind a desk. She has no problems being hands on whenever extra hands are needed. Whenever I have patients looking for a place to move to, I always include The Pointe in my choices.

As a RN for the past 26 years I have had the opportununity to be in many communities and meet many leaders. I can honestly say that the Pointe is the best of the best. Wendy, the Executive Director is a seasoned, compassionate nurse leader that places her residents first. What makes it special? 1. Wendy and her team work tirelessly to bring normalcy in the middle of the global pandemic. The residents at The Pointe at Cedar Park are family. From chili cookoffs, Halloween parties and Holiday celebrations they always make sure to bring fun and family to each day. 2. The Care. Having a nurse leading the team, she understands the importance of safety during pandemic and works tirelessly to ensure her team are well trained and equipped with whatever is needed to keep her residents safe. Her team is incredible and treats each resident as family. 3. The Food. Frankie is a master in the kitchen. He makes incredible homemade pizza, chili, healthy foods and desserts. for every occasion. If you are looking for an assisted living in the Cedar Park or Austin area I would highly recomment The Pointe at Cedar Park.
