Great place for breakfast. Very friendly staff and good food. Picture is the “Kountry” omelette which was very good. I couldn’t finish it with all the potatoes and toast without exploding. :). Next time I’m going to try the Gyro omelette which looked interesting. I’ll go again if nearby.

The Kountry Kitchen impressed my kids who wanted to stop at McDonald’s for lunch. I was able to bypass their favorite food stop and dropped in on the diner for the first time since moving to Lancaster. The kids cheeseburgers did not disappoint. Both kids gave A+ reviews for the burgers and French fries. They were super happy with the ice cream dessert which is included in the kid meals. A review cannot get any better from these two as they would like to return for a breakfast too. The diner is very kid-friendly and I was grateful for the kids menu, crayons, lollipops, and large portions which made for a snack later in the day for my growing munchkins. I opted for the fresh 1/2 lb mushroom Swiss burger and was impressed with the fresh cut fries and taste of the burger which had been expertly prepared. The menu has an assortment of soups, salads, burgers, panini sandwiches, assorted gourmet sandwiches, footlong subs, melts, Italian/Greek/Asian entree’s, home style meals, steaks/chops/ribs, seafood and extensive breakfast all day menu. I love that they also offer a senior menu too. It does not surprise me that this “Little Gem” always has cars in the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and stop by as the food is “just like Mom’s cooking” and the location has plenty of seating, parking, and friendly staff. The diner is handicapped assessable with ramps out front. Sorry, no pictures of our burgers as we dug in right away. Oops... Returned and ordered the mushroom Swiss burger again and a cup of chili. Delicious. The chicken corn noodle soup was amazing according to my friend. Just saying... If you like this review, please like and share with friends and family. I will be back to edit the review with pictures during our next stop.

First time visit for us. What an excellent place. We came for breakfast. My meal was a cheese omelet with french fries instead of home fries. The french fries looked and tasted like Bricker's famous ffs in my opinion. Loved them. Service was always on the move and kept very busy. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed before we asked. Only draw back I saw was the floor bounced some with the traffic on it making the table sometimes move. We will be back again. Give them a try.

I added 3 stars only because of my most recent experience typically this place is 4 to 5 stars. They're always friendly. And normally have great food with good portion sizes. However today I ordered a meatball sub that only had 3 tiny meatballs on it. A one foot roll, with 1.5 meatballs per side, it was cut I half. Thats 80% leftover roll that I didn't eat.. I asked a waiterress if this was typical and her response was yes and she would be happy to bring me out more meatballs. While that was a nice gesture. I was confused that a cook could make such a skimpy sandwich and think it was OK.

Not true....they have removed half the seats from the dinning room. The staff does always wear masks.
Thursday’s is the baked chicken pie and Wednesday’s the Chicken pot pie(with homemade noodles).
I would call to see what there policy is for gift certificate. But I would think that it would not expire because it was a gift. Just my opinion
