This place is fantastic even when the fall colors aren't in bloom yet!! We went there yesterday (10-15), and the colors of tge foliage was awesome! The history of the place is really neat too! Don't forget to say hi to all the chickens (Don't worry...they will come to YOU!), and stop by the stable and say hi to Lily. She's a lively 25-year old horse who is spending her final days resting and relaxing at the Farmstead.

Been going to visit this beautiful place since I was a little kid. It's definitely worth the drive. There's a long flight of steps so I wouldn't recommend it if you have any type of leg problems. Otherwise it's an absolutely gorgeous place to visit.
