We were traveling through heading back to Texas and they were super friendly and the waitress was very attentive. The food was fantastic and all homemade. The decorations were really neat. They made us feel welcome the minute we walked in the door. We will definitely be back the next time we travel that way.

Enjoyed having staff care for us- road weary travelers, ready to be home. Very plentiful home-cooked meal, great veggies. It’s rare to find veggies on the road and our server made sure I had all the sweet tea with extra lemon I could handle! Did I mention the homemade yeast roll? Oh my!

Lunch on Sunday, was crazy busy, but our waitress Jo was outstanding! She was hustling while waiting on all those tables. It is a nostalgic little Cafe, the seating is limited. The locals were friendly also. They were all about helping travelers with what was good to eat. The recommendations were the chicken fried steak and the burgers. I had a chicken fried chicken sandwich with tater tots and a side of white gravy. It was delicious! My wife had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was great. My youngest ate from the smaller portions menu. Well, those two chicken strips were more like chicken breast. Pricing was not terrible. It seemed right in line with other restaurants. If you have the chance to eat here, you need to stop and eat!

Ordered the "belt strecher". The omelet was fairly good, the bell peppers in it tasted old, but other than that it was palatable. The hashbrowns were good, and the biscuits and gravy were awesome. Not crowded, maybe a handful of people. Food came out pretty quickly, and glass never got empty. All and all decent place to eat.
