This food was absolutely amazing!!! I love it!! You mean to tell me I can get a salmon cheesesteak, wings fries and a drink in a combo. In addition to that EVERYTHING was seasoned to perfection! My mom ordered the turkey burger, wings, fries and drink and loved it! My new favorite place 🥰

I went to eat here for the first based upon the star reviews. When I walked in was amazed at how well and professional the owner handled his staff under pressure. I purchased a simple order of Wings fries. How they were presented was wonderful and they tasted excellent. It was a pleasure speaking with you and hearing your story. My husband who is a retired chef tasted your wings and loved them. We prayed for you and I pray that God grants you uncommon favor with your restaurant and your receive the help and support that you most desperately need.

Came to Charlotte on vacation and hear great thing about Nappy chef and they didn't disappoint. The wings were cooked ton perfection with and amazing Caribbean sauce. The burger was juicy and tasteful. We also got some of their signature peach lemonade which sent my taste buds on an amazing adventure. If you haven't had a chance to stop by you are missing out...

- [ ] I visited the Nappy Chef for the first time today. Being that I’m not from Charlotte I read some reviews and decided to go. After so many wonderful reviews I expected it to be AMAZING. I was READY for this food. But… for one… it said take out only online so I decided I’d order it and pick it up… that was not an option because I got an “Nappy Chef is not receiving anymore orders” okay… no problem. So I tried calling, boom… no answer.. multiple times. At this point I decided I’m just gonna go up there and not let that ruin my experience. No biggie. However…. Upon arriving…. When it said limited parking it didn’t say there were only 3 parking spots.. even still. No biggie. I got inside, FINALLY bout to get some food. The cashiers were um… unprofessional & unfriendly. Just bad customer service. But EVEN STILL no biggie. I proceed to place my order… and they were out of. Every. Single. Thing. That I drove all the way there for.. the Po boys, all of the pastas, tacos and chicken & waffles & sweet tea were all out. There was nothing left to order except the wings so that’s what I settled for. I ordered the Henny Hot wings, fries and a sprite. The wings were a good size so I see why they are the price they are. The “Henny Hot” sauce was similar to a salty teriyaki sauce honestly. It wasn’t hot or even a little spicy. It was just overall confusing as to why that’s what they are called because it didn’t taste anything like what one would assume. It tasted okay, not to die for or so amazing though. The fries are similar to the ones you can order at the state fair. So there’s that. For a ‘celebrity chef’ I expected more. More flavor, more effort and more food to be honest. I’m assuming the full menu is ONLY available for “celebrities”. I gave 3 stars for the wing size and the fact that they didn’t taste terrible. And because they didn’t charge me for ranch, that’s it. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it or return.
