To cash your check we will verify with the employer that you work there and they issued the check, and also with the bank the check is drawn on to verify there are sufficient funds. You will also need to bring a valid (unexpired) government ID with picture. If you work here at one of the Sonics you should be fine as long as we can reach the manager at the store where you work. Once we set up your profile you'll be able to cash every week very easy and fast.

We only cash personal checks on a case by case basis for our regular customers who cash their weekly payroll checks, or have been cashing with us for a long time. We must always be able to verify with the issuer of the check, and also the bank that the funds are drawn on. If it is your first time to cash with us, we would not be able to cash a personal check.

Yes we can cash a check made out to you when you bring a valid ID. We have to verify with the issuer of the check, and the bank, to verify the check, however we do not cash personal checks or cashiers checks or money orders for new customers, or those who haven't been here in a while. We charge 2% but also have a loyalty program where you get your 13th check free if it is under $1,000.
