Had a great experience at this store. They have a big selection of everything you need for fly fishing at a reasonable price. The staff is very knowledgeable and went out of their way to teach me some trout fishing basics for my upcoming trip. They helped me load my fly box and I can’t wait to hit the water. Maria - you are correct that Sage rods have a lifetime warranty, however, the rod must be shipped back to Sage Repair Department. In other words, there is NO way for Urban Angler to replace or repair the rod for you as we are not the manufacturer. Instead we can help you send the rod back to Sage Repairs Department using the International Repair Form. *Pricing depends on the age of the rod (see repair form link page 3 for more information). **Timeline depends on the nature of the repair but most repairs take about 4-6 weeks and will be shipped back to your home address (anywhere in the world). Yes we can rig your reel, this takes about 5-10min. We have several choices for backing color in various strengths. Choices can impact price but average charge for backing only is about 10 cents/yd.
Sorry, we are a fly shop, while we have a few spinning reel options we do not specialize them. You may be better off trying another shop in the city.
