I was really nervous about having an MRI done for the first time but the person that checked me in Aletha was so nice and calming and pleasant that it made me feel a little less nervous. Then the one that did the MRI scan was Kent and he was wonderful and really helped me to feel totally relaxed and comfortable and kept checking in on me with the speaker to make sure I was ok. They both made the experience so much better and actually all the staff I have dealt with there were great.

I had a very wonderful experience! Front desk person Melinda was very helpful!! It is less expensive and I got a quick appointment. They were super fast getting my results to my doctor!! A very pleasant experience! I would recommend anyone to come here!!

Hi Trudy, we do not have an upright MRI. All of our MRIs are done in a laying down position. The same results can be achieved on our machine. If you have any questions feel free to call our office. Thank you for considering us for your Imaging needs.

Our MRI is very similar to a cat scan machine. Think of it as a large donut. If you are over 5 foot two and having an MRI of your lumbar spine you can see out of the top. If you are looking for the traditional open MRIs we have one at our sister Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina called Piedmont Imaging. Feel free to stop by anytime to look at the machine.
