Gorgeous valley with lots of water and green meadows. Wonderful place if you like to fish or go for a peacefully walk. If you like to dip feet in the creek as you enjoy sunset ,it will do as well. Much cooler than surrounding area but summer tends to be over 90F up there. By end of the summer there is tons of cows wondering around meadow. They make a bit of noise at night but it's quickly forgotten as you look at surroundings. Love it!!

Great place for Camping, Fishing and Hiking. We took a walk along the paved trail of the Santa Clara River, was just wonderful. If going by yourself or with the whole family, you will enjoy the time. You should definitely check this place out, so worth it.

Just went last week and caught a decent trout within 5 minutes. Some people caught quite a few.
Unfortunately you cannot. Upper sand Cove, Enterprise or Baker lake would be the next closest lakes that you could.
Not in pine valley, however there is a pretty awesome pool in Veyo. A bit of an attraction itself.
Dry camping here. No power, water or sewer. Campground water is available to fill your tanks however.
Yes, in the Pine Valley Rules they are allowed on a leash, with proper water management, but not near swimming areas.
In October the sites are all walk-in only.
You would have to go online and reserve a camp site. I normally just go up for a day trip and use the daily camp sites.
Yes but not much.
So when I went up there it was about noon. And I just went and spoke to a host (one on every section) and they helped me find a good spot. I don't necessarily think that you can't get a site before 2:00 p.m. . But they do want the payment before the end of the day. I'm sure they say not until 2:00 p.m. so that it gives them time to clean up the sites that someone used the previous night. As for the water I did not notice any mainly because I brought water with me. But there are some near the bathrooms.
Yes as long as they are on a lease do be careful if you or your dogs goes off the walking trails there are rattle snakes
Fire is out.
Camped in PV campground a couple weeks ago. No signal on Verizon. Spotty signal in town, strongest was near the church.

Parking is a short walk above the reservoir. There are parking spots and picnic tables overlooking the reservoir.
$19 single $38 double tents
The gate is closed for the road in until the campground opens, about the beginning of May.
Not open all year. Opens in May and closes in September. Check out recreation.gov for details
Check with the park for this year
I believe so
Some signal, up near the road by yellow pine campground. LTE is hard to come by. We use a cell booster when calling there.
I have seen large groups make use of the amphitheater space for events. That may be a good option for you.
