Beautiful, unique rock formations. Well maintained park. Flush toilets, free hot showers. Very hot June, July and August.

Had a great time exploring and camping here. Went in April 2021 and it was first come, first serve for camping spots. Did not see any rangers so we paid using the handwritten slip and envelopes located by the bathroom and placed in the payment slots. The trail was stunning. I've never seen a place like it.

Well kept Campground with flushing toilets and hot showers that cost 25 cents for 5 minutes (be aware that they only accept quarters, though.) Each campsite has a picnic table, a shade Ramada, and a fire pit. The sites are all pretty level and the ground is easy to get stakes into for tents. There are also water spigots around the Campground and some provided firewood. There are also power outlets at most if not all the sites. All around a very nice place to camp for only $20/night per spot.

Beautiful area with lots of geological interest. Sandstone weathered into cathedral-like shapes. Lots of slot canyon openings into the formations. Interesting layers of sandstone and rocks.

Questions & Answers

We were wanting to come up November the 10th, 11th or the next week of the 17th, 18th ... are they usually busy dates to camp ?? If so, what Wednesday and Thursdays would be the best days to camp?

We were there two days. The campsites fill up pretty fast. best to get there before 10 a.m. to get a site.

Yes, dogs are welcome, must be leashed and you must be a responsible owner and clean up after them. They can walk all the trails with you!!!
