I was in town for a funeral and wanted a quick bite to eat, but not fast food. This was a quick getting seated, but they must have been short staffed in the back. It took a few minutes more than expected for our food and it was just ok. They didn't deliver the food to our table at one time, it was in shifts about 2-3 minutes apart. When we asked for more tortilla chips they acted like they didn't understand what we were saying. With all the other Mexican restaurants in Middlesboro, I doubt I will eat there next time I'm in town.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is top 3 best in the state. Go here and get it.

I love the food! I have visited this establishment many times over the years and they never disappoint. The service is wonderful. If you enjoy Mexican food, you should definitely go to La Esperanza.
