Holiday inn has always treated us a good and this one was no different. They asked all the right questions when it came to my service dog and i loved that. My service dog is real but lots out there are not. So checking them out helps keep people on the up and up and helps me out when i check into a hotel. Manager was great, food was good and rooms were outstanding

We stayed here last night and this place is fantastic! Deonte at the front desk checked us in and he was so upbeat and kind. A great welcome after a long drive! The room was spotless thanks to Brooke B. Very modern room with lots of space! We didn’t use the pool but it looks nice. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. As someone who has to eat gluten free, I was thrilled to see so many sausage options (links, sausage patties, and turkey patties) and Cheerios. The breakfast attendants were doing a great job at keeping things cleaned and well stocked on a busy Sunday morning. If you’re looking at your options in Middlesboro, I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back if we ever pass through again!

we only stayed for one night. we had reservations when we checked in. the front counter was very friendly and got us checked in very quickly. our rooms were very clean and taken care of. the beds and pillows were great.

This is by far the most disappointing stay at a IHG hotel I've ever experienced. I stayed at this location for almost a whole week with my family and received a complaint about an "odor" from my room on the second day of staying here. After rectifying the situation I never received a single complaint from hotel management for the remainder of my stay. When I booked my return room after the weekend I was called and notified that the hotel put me on a "Do not Rent" list at all the facilities in their town because I "trashed the room and smoked in in it". Both of these reasons are not true. I never smoked anywhere on the premises or the room and I didn't destroy/damage any property inside the room. The room had nothing more than normal wear from a family with a barely 1 year old child. I spoke with management who admitted the room's condition was mischaracterized and acknowledged she knows I didn't smoke in the room but could not give me a good reason why I was banned from staying at all hotels they owned in the area. The 2nd hotel I made a reservation at(I was unaware they were part of same chain) waited until I arrived at 1 am to tell me my reservation was cancelled. After driving over 7+ hours to learn this at 1 am is unacceptable. I doubt I will ever stay at a IHG hotel ever again.
