Modern day slavery. No rest. Treatedblike a prisoner. Was asked my goals when I first arrived (to finish my degree) and was told that the Mission offered "courses" (a Bible class). The lady in charge is doing well, though, and won't miss a chance to "testify" to you about it while you sit in unheated rooms in January. Too bad the space heater only keeps her feet warm π

At first it was hard. I stayed in the Women's dorm. They had a great Pastor for the Women, Pastor Tangie. A clothing closet twice a week to get cloths. They allow you to find a job and save your money. Fill out applications with Housing and help you get into a home. I met some incredible lady's during my stay that God blessed me with in Friendship through Jesus Christ. 1 year ago I left Western Carolina with a key to my own Apt through Housing. I am greatful for the growing I got and strength and friendship during my stay. Some days we may clash , but it is because we all come in with problems and at the end of the day Women encourage each other and thankful to have a bed, cloths, food, and yes God. Stay focused it will change your life around and it will happen. If your wanting a Change in life with hope and a home to call your own .. That is what it did for me. I got a Home now. God Bless to the Lady's and May GOD WALK WITH US WHERE WE ARE LED TO BE. GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU.

ZERO STARS!!!! So... I was told by a member of the staff, that I had to leave immediately, because, get this.. I CALLED IN A BOMB THREAT!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!! What a load of BALONEY!! A number of years ago, I did write an extremely BAD REVIEW. I will admit that! Because my personal experience a few years ago. But that wasn't a BOMB THREAT!! I have to give more than one star for creativity! I will be praying for you!

Intake for men is from 9am - 11am each day. Women's intake is from 1pm - 3pm. We fill up VERY quickly, so I would recommend that you come as close to 9am for a man's intake and as close to 1pm for a woman's intake as possible. For additional needs or questions, please call us at 828-254-0471.
Women's intake takes place each day from 1pm-3pm. You must have a valid government issued photo ID, the ability to get on the top bunk (if assigned), and CANNOT be a registered sex offender. Please call 828-254-0471 for additional questions / information.
