At approximately 9:40 am on 6-9-20, Your Sears technician Mr. Brian, Showed up to our home without a Face Mask, and after being confronted, refused to were a Face Mask! My Wife told him that when we made the repair appointment, the sears representative assured us that the Sears technician would be wearing "Protective Gear", Mr. Brian scoffed at that, and said that he was not told about it. I am sure you can verify my story by asking any other appointments that he had that day (or any previous days) if this is indeed true. My Wife was wearing her mask, and we needed the Dishwasher repaired, so we reluctantly let him in. After around 10 minutes, Mr. Brian proclaimed our Dishwasher "repaired", even with the indicator light still not working (which has been an ongoing problem for many months). Mr. Brian essentially told my Wife that as long as the dishes get clean, that should be sufficient. My Wife told Mr. Brian that we bought the machine with the indicator lights working, and we expect it to continue working after ANY repairs. She also reminded Mr. Brian that it is NOT his machine, and it is not his "call" to make! Mr. Brian then said that he can do no more, to fix the "indicator lights" problem. And left! We feel that Mr. Brian has demonstrated careless disregard for our health by not wanting to were a face mask in our own home, and has repeatedly failed to "repair" our dishwasher, and has acted in a careless and flagrant manner, both with our health, and with representing Sears in honoring our Sears Protection Agreement!!

I have an expensive all inclusive service contract for my washing machine. My machine has been down for 6 weeks and after the third visit to my home to repair the problem . They didn't install all the parts ordered by the first tech. They didn't have the correct tools to repair the problem and in the process , broke the machine further. Sears response to me, wait for a tech to come back and diagnose the problem. No replacement ,even though they broke it further. Just wait. Did I mention I have 4 children, and laundry is a non stop process in my home. Oh ,they did offer to reimburse me for a rental unit if I wanted to go find one, pick it up and install it myself. Why did I pay for a service contract. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the warranty company and the escalations department. I got zero customer service, they did nothing to remediate the problem that their tech caused. Their solution , wait for yet another tech to diagnose the new and old problem, order parts, wait for them to come in ,then schedule a repair appointment. Sears has lots of fine print to defraud you. Stay far away. I'd give them a 0, if it were an option. I am getting a lawyer.
