Vinton Computer put a new solid state terabyte drive in my Mac. It only took 4 days, and my Mac has never run this well! The price was very fair and they charged me their cost on several items. They were very professional and did a terrific job!

Highly recommend! I had very tight specifications for what I was looking to buy, and although it took a couple trips to finalize my purchase of a refurbished laptop that fit all of them (they were tracking down the proper parts, including a different keyboard), they went above and beyond to come through, including great communication throughout! During my trips, I had conversations with 4 different people there, including the owner, and everyone was focused solely on what I needed and wanted, and none of them ever tried to upsell me or change what I was looking for to make things easier for them. It was a PHENOMENAL experience.

Their fee posted on the store is $50.00 for all repairs. Now if parts and such will make the repairs more. But in your case the fee could be $50.00 or less. I found them to be flexible and it might cost you less. Call and ask they should give you a price or help. Good luck.

I had my hard drive replaced and they have most anything else.
I needed a new HD and they replaced it - with a warranty!! I highly recommend them!!
It just depends on what all is going on with the machine. They diagnose for free and will give there best opinion on it and maybe even be able to take your password off in no time.
A lot of things they can do while you're there waiting. But say installing a new hard drive and then transferring all your software you would probably have to leave it for a day or so. I did. They're really fast and answer all your questions.
They don't always buy laptops it just depends on the model and what's in it.
