This review is based only on front desk staff. The front desk staff are very rude. After verifying my insurance and telling me what my payment would be, I asked why it was more than if I were to self-pay. She responded that that’s just what the rate is. When I said that I would rather just pay out of pocket her reply was, “well I wish I would’ve known that before wasting my time verifying your insurance.” I responded that I didn’t know that my cost would be higher with insurance. I was also here two days ago about 45 minutes before closing time. Another front staff person just looked at me when I walked in. No greeting. No how can I help you? Just an expectant stare. When I asked if I could be seen she rudely told me not today.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO AMELIA URGENT CARE!!! If I could give negative numbers I would!!! My spouse and I moved here in January 2022 and have had zero bad experiences with customer service, until we went to Amelia Urgent Care. Without a doubt the fake black haired lady who was behind the counter was THE RUDEST PERSON I'VE EVER COME ACROSS IN 57 YEARS OF LIFE!!! I called first to make sure my spouse could get an xray after falling off the golf cart, the nice blonde haired lady was super nice and assured me we would be taken care of... HOWEVER, when the very first thing the RUDE black haired lady told me was to move my truck since I was parked in the adjoining business's spots I figured we would be going somewhere else. We already knew AUC didn't take our insurance but RUDE LADY had to make sure everyone in the facility knew that! I have money and was going to pay cash. The most unbelievable parts of the experience was I asked for a wheelchair and RUDE LADY called someone to ask if I could use the wheelchair that I could clearly see sitting behind the counter. She asked me how old my spouse is for the wheelchair...WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF HE'S 9 OR 99????? I PROMISE I WILL NEVER RETURN TO AUC AND I WILL TELL MY EMPLOYER THAT USES AUC FOR DRUG TESTING AND PHYSICALS ABOUT MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! UF HEALTH WILDLIGHT IS FANTASTIC!!

This place is so unprofessional and might as well be scammers at this point. Took my 7 month here because he was not feeling good and they send his labs to outside company in South Carolina to due the testing which happened not be in network provider. Why would you send his testing to facility which is not in Florida and not in network when you are. Took over 3 days get the results and by that time he was already fine thanks for nothing and huge bil. FYI had wait over an hour with no one in the lobby. Go down the street to Wildlight urgent care so much better . Lessoned Learnt.

Had a great experience and well taken care of. Was there last Sunday 15th May, with an Eye infection. The receptionist (Alex) was extremely nice and friendly. Clearly shes not the one with black short hair, rude and unfriendly Which other customers mentioned here. The male nurse was very professional and my dr. I think his name is Patrick, was so attentive and helped me as much as he could.
