The rooms are good, have some issues with the ice maker. It doesn't work. Its not totally stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. If your here working for any length of time, you may want to bring along extra silverware. The BBQ grills really need to be replaced out by the pool, one doesn't work and the one that does only has 2 flames and you cannot adjust it. You honestly can cook your meats adequately at all. The pool and pool area doesn't seem to be cleaned daily. Only one elevator works, and the one that works broke down a few times. They serve a good breakfast, and dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. The staff have all been extremely nice and as helpful as they can be.

Positive: Pristine cleanliness and quality of the bedclothes and linen-like new. Bed was just right hard/softness and variety of pillow qualities. Everything else very clean--kitchen fine. Liked having the choice of table, sofa or bed for sitting. Staff exemplary. Negative: Switched rooms last 2 days-fridge broke. Staff very helpful, gave me room next door--toilet paper holder broken, kitchen sink water drainage problem-otherwise fine. Reception very short-staffed.

If you’re looking for a hotel with extra space, and lots of it…choose Staybridge. You can’t go wrong. Mini kitchen, full closet, separate sleeping/lounging areas. The check in staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean. Ample parking and nice outdoor areas (with an outdoor pool). The location was easy to find and close enough to downtown and to the university, without being downtown. My only complaint was the door handle on my room, the electronic mechanism liked to pick and choose when it would open. I was also surprised the hotel had no ice machines (other than the ones in the freezer).

We stayed in a suite in early January with our son, his wife and 2 year old grandson. The experience was horrific! The room smelled musty only to find out the carpet outside the bathroom was wet underfoot. The cupboards doors were not clean, there was visible blood and snot on the wall beside the toilet, and the bed skirt had water stains on it. The door to the suite had no sweep so a 2 inch gap under the door allowed us to hear the noises in the hall. The worse part is the rooms are obviously not maintained on an annual or biannual basis- the air return and the bathroom vents had obviously not been changed in months- the dust hung from the grate (not just the filter). When I called the cooperate office they asked if I had spoken to management. This is more than a housekeeping issue- this is a corporation not interested in maintaining their property for the health and safety of their patrons. We will never stay at another Staybridge and I will be sure to share my experience as often as I can.
