So much fun

I hadn't been to the area in decades. Found myself in North Wildwood for a week with the family and was looking for a place to take my granddaughter fishing for the first time, that would be easily accessible and somewhat productive. I ended up coming here 3 times in a week. It was mid August, so not the best time to fish there, but there was still enough fluke and seabass action to keep things interesting. We didn't end up catching anything to bring home for the grill, but a lot of shorts were fun for my 9 year old granddaughter and had her wanting to come back for more. The bait and tackle shop had everything we needed. On Friday I even finally met Maggie the pier dog who I had seen on their Facebook page. On Monday and Thursday there wasn't too much traffic on the water. Friday afternoon it was a little more boat and jet ski activity that got in the way at times. But it was a very pleasant experience overall. We met nice people every time we went there and enjoyed the time spent on the pier.

Came here to go crabbing. They rented all the equipment we needed and sold bait. For a flat fee you can use the marina even if you bring your own equipment. There's a sink, places to sit and it's peaceful. Saw a bunch of different sea creatures. Will definitely come back.

The lady behind the counter was extremely rude. (Didnt even bother asking if we need a rod) Needless to say other then my family enjoyed ourselves.

No but not a bad idea to register on NJ Saltwater Registry web site, it's free. I've never seen it enforced at pier but have been asked for it on one occasion down Cape May by Marine Police.
We are still closed for the season. We will update when we have an official opening date.
Parking for bar/grille and for fishing pier! Overflow along the road between the two!
There is a place to eat. I don't know the hours. It's a bar restaurant
I believe so
There is a cost to go on the pier 6 dollar adults and 3 dollars for kids for the day
