I think it depends on the day. Their website has a calendar with the time for each day.

The water is not heated... and it is really cold when the park opens in April. By the summer though it's the perfect temp!

If you're willing to walk a bit you can find free parking nearby, but imo it's worth it to park in the garage. Especially since it has an elevator that puts out right by the park entrance.

Yes the water park has a after 3pm matinee price. The roller coaster on the beach that had the incident last summer is not and was not run by Daytona Lagoon.

It was a bit cool but once you get in your body will adjust to the temperature.

Yes there are umbrella seat rentals and there are full booth rentals. The free seats are in the Sun! We had the booth and it was GREAT. There are tables, sofas, and a lock box for personals!

The cabana is just a tent. You can choose the regular (usually blue) type or the larger wooden ones. They are great for the extremely hot summer days, especially if you want to take a quick nap (for the shade)between all the fun.

However I reside in Orlando and I was on a 3 day vacation and the times as far as the wait and how many ppl were there were inaccurate b/c of the expected amount of ppl that were there then opposed the actual projected attendance on a typical day. Daytona Beach in general wasn't swamped, even though it was on a Tuesday thru Thursday, it was still in the middle of July which is peak season. I was shocked myself to see such few tourists there in the middle of July... TBH I didn't mind it at all and it was very accessible in comparison to the high volume of tourists back home in the O...

You definitely need water shoes, they aren't required though.

They have a huge pizza that looks like 4 larges and is about $40. All food you pay per order. There isn't a food wrist band.

It's good you're going on a weekday. No lines. The wave pool was fun. I was disappointed in the lazy river. Very slow unlike the one in Orlando. Not the biggest waterpark but it does the job. You'll enjoy it.

The only thing I didn't like was the parking garage. It needs to be rebuilt. It has holes it to where your foot can go in it.

My daughter is 20 months old and she goes with us no problem. We put a life vest on her with a strap up top and we walk around the kids section with her and she goes down the kiddie section slides with my husband and i as well. You can also carry her in the lazy river. Btw kids under 3 are free.
