Reservation issues upon arrival. Internet was not working. Staff unwilling to offset inconveniences with upgrade options. Room was dingy. Air conditioning would not cool room efficiently. The next morning my room key did not function. I waited for almost an hour for someone to show up at the front desk to rekey my keycard. As a Diamond member my expectations were not met at all with this stay.

Great place near Ft Polk. Stayed there 2 times on separate months for several nights each time. Great people. A softball tournament took over the city and hotel was packed. Despite many kids and drunk parents, the staff did great!

Bathroom is missing baseboards, wall paper is coming off wall. Room wasn't cleaned very well, poor planning for a/c unit while we were in the room. Breakfast was terrible. Took 3 days just to get a coffee maker in the room

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good for a Covidesque environment. The housekeeper actually made up my room on request, so that was a nice change of pace. I reason I gave 3 stars is for the smell and temp in the hallways. There was a stale smell in the halls that was increased by overheating the halls. This overheating lead to the room overheating. I would wake up with the room at 77 degrees after setting the temp to 70, have to turn on the A/C (no windows) and do this cycle multiple time during the night. this just made the 2 night stay a little rough. I was too tired to complain so that's on me, but This should have been fairly obvious considering how hot the halls were, we are talking sauna level. Again staff was very nice and hard working and I appreciated that. I'll give them another shot and update my review if they improve on next trip.
