Update (Oct 2022): After a year of nonstop ongoing back and forward email communication we did received the check. Thank you to Dalla’s for going the extra mile and picking the check up and personally handing it to me. ——————————————————————— The Atherton is in the perfect location has beautiful amenities with upscale vibe. However, the people that live here do not know how to behave and follow basic rules. It converted into the frat house of the block, with people throwing loud parties and leaving cans everywhere. For this reason and the sudden increase in rent prices, my husband and I decided to move out in September 2021. To make things worse, we have had issues with getting what was left of our deposit back. Till this day, 8 months later we haven’t gotten our check which is only sent via mail. We have been emailing and emailing constantly about getting our money back and we are still waiting. I do not recommend moving here if you want peace and quiet.

The Atherton is a beautiful property located in an exciting part of town. The amenities are fantastic. The leasing team are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend.

Great amenities and very friendly staff. The selection of stores/restaurants and the light rail in the immediate area is very convenient.

A few months ago, they started raising everyone’s rent by 17% when they renew. My friend down the hall just got her “special offer” to renew that is 21% higher than her current rate. Very sketchy. In some states, this isn’t even legal. Do not move here unless you have money to burn, because The Atherton will take all of it and act like it’s normal. Also - everyone I know is moving out. So the lovely community that is here now will be gone in a few months. PS: Emery is great though.
