Don’t be fooled by first impressions! This was the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. This complex did everything possible to make money off of us that ended up leaving us more broke than when we moved in!! To make matters worse, safety was a major concern. Management is quick to fine residents while living there, and charge you excessive amounts upon move out for items that you didn’t even damage because “their contractors can only take care of everything or nothing at all”. Our security deposit was deemed “non-refundable” because we paid a monthly deposit fee, instead of upfront payment. This upfront payment method was not an option to us at the time of move-in. We did not feel safe at this complex. Our neighbor above us would fight with their spouse at all hours of the night and would rattle the walls throwing each other around. Cops were called multiple times. After this incident, said neighbors flicked a cigarette onto pine straw in front of my apartment that quickly caught fire. Management refused to do anything about either incident.

This is suppose to be a luxury apartment complex. There has been bad communication and lack of education. It took a month for someone to come out and fix several issues from moving . There is a lack of professionalism and education.

The office is supposed to close at 6pm but it closes at 5:30 to cater to the assistant manager. What about the other employees there? The leasing manager doesn’t get off until 6pm. It’s because she’s a single woman that they take advantage of her. They will also make changes to your ledger without your knowledge; by they I mean the assistant manager. There was also a $300 bonus offered to anyone wanting to work for the assistant two Saturday’s ago but the email wasn’t sent to anyone else in her office. If you want a company that is dishonest, one that discriminates and one that values a lazy employee with a child over a hard working and single one, this is the place.

For the past week I have been trying to get in contact with someone from the office at The Bellary Flats - filling out the contact form, the form for "secure the low rate of the day," emailing, calling, leaving voicemails, leaving a message in the "Chat Now" box - and no one answers the phone, no one returns my calls, and no one returns ANY of the messages I have sent. Meanwhile, the apartment floorplan I wanted that had several open spots at really great prices have all slipped away. I am moving 3,000 miles across the country and would love to rent a place from this beautiful space that has the #1 rating in all of SC...and yet no one answers the phone and responds to my messages.
