We drove from Raleigh to try this place bc of the truffle pastas. We were amazed at all the unique dishs and spins they did on classic dishs. The butter chicken was superb. The truffle pasta was delightful and deep with flavors. The spin on the carpaccio was pleasently satisfying. The server Moe was super and knew the menu and ingredients as well as cooking processes of all the dishes. He was like a teacher of taste :) I highly recommend this place to freinds and family...

We stumbled upon this restaurant during our Durham wandering today while looking for something dog friendly that had gluten free options. This is typically a pretty hard bill to fill, especially because I'm also a vegetarian. The host told me they had gluten free pasta as an option, so we were sold. Our server, Josh, was a true master at his craft. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the extensive menu, and brought everything out with perfect timing. The food was exceptional and we could have kept eating if our stomachs hasn't stopped us. This is a real find and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Durham.

I always love coming to Cucciolo, everyone is super friendly and the service is always superb! Our server Carl went above and beyond! We had a wonderful dining in and needless to say the food was AMAZING as always! The pistachio gelato with a shot of espresso was the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be coming back here soon!

Great flavors, especially in the appetizer which was a roasted grape, walnut and goat cheese bruschette! I do think that for the price the portions should've been larger. The bruschette for example was cut so thinly that they broke in half.

Thank you for contacting Cucciolo Osteria. As part of COVID-19 precaution, our tables are all at least 6ft apart. All our employees wear mask properly, and we sanitize all contact surfaces after each use. We also do not setup our table prior to guests' arrival and use roll-up for utensils. Lastly, we take temperature of all our guests at the door

I've heard that the food is great but that the place is too noisy for us older people to talk. Is this true? Is there a quieter room? Thanks.

Dear George, thank you for contacting Cucciolo Osteria. It is true that the noise level sometimes gets energetic in our dining room. Unfortunately, we do not have a quieter room beside our private dining room. However, if you dine with us earlier in the evening, before 6PM, the noise level tends to be much lower. Typically, the noise level goes up as the night progresses. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Kind regards, Jimmy Kim
