Oceanfront room was perfect. Beds were comfortable with an excellent view, room was well appointed. What made this vacation the best ever, was an employee named Rachel, the recreation manager for the pool area. Rachel was extremely personable and went out of her way every day to make sure we were taken care of. She has excellent customer service skills and because of her, I would definitely stay here again. Marriott has a jewel here!

They put very large amounts of holds on two of my credit cards when I clearly specified at check in that all charges should be put on a new card and not on the card that was used at the time of making the reservation. Totally ruined my vacation and when I spoke to the Manager about it ,his response was "that's how the systems work". Paid over $300 a night and the table chair in the room had holes in it.

There's an airport on Hilton Head but we fly into Savannah and drive 45 minutes to Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa.
I'm sure they can take care of you. This is a top notch establishment.
Standard 4pm but they try to accommodate you if you ask to check in earlier.
Get a lower floor (5ish), the higher floors are extremely warm in the summer

Not that I am aware of. Palmetto Dunes is right next door to the hotel.
They only have a couple vending areas with microwaves. If you require one I would mention it when booking so they reserve you a floor with one in the vending room for that floor.

It may. That's a old hotel. I wouldn't expect much.
The city runs all beach umbrella and chair rentals, just ask on of the friendly lifeguards.
I was there in September of 2017 for my honeymoon it was great hotel, it's only 40 minutes out of Savannah Georgia. Great place!
No lounge. Plat and Ambassador recieve free continental breakfast. If you have any hot items it's an extra $6 currently.

Self Parking is included in your built in 25$ per day resort fee.
They have a baby pool, an indoor pool, outdoor pool from 3 to 5 feet (i believe) with a divided section that is 10 feet, along with a hot tub.
Free Parking is all that I'm aware of.
The renovations got complete in April first week. We went therr during that time and they were painting the pools. They opened them on 3rd April. The renovations were all outside, nothing inside.
