This shelter is used to forge unknowing clients names on a science experiment, a human study, where they indulge in grant fraud and human slavery. When confronted Chaplin George replied if you don't wanna be in an experiment you can't eat! This is true, and the name of the grant funded NIH experiment is Basic Experimental Studies with Humans. Please do not patronize this violation of forced slavery for shelter. The building needs to be condensed and Chaplin George and the rest belong in jail! Any human study requires eCRF.. 45-CRF Part 46, section 46.116, General Requirements for informed concent. They do not have any qualified human subjects yet are carrying it on anyway for frauded grant money

Watch your back and keep your belongings close. Used to have things stolen when I was out working. I stayed upstairs. Food was just okay. Employees were God crazy. Used to tell these ridiculous stories about God speaking to them, What? I'm sorry but saying an invisible diety talks to you is nuts. I went along with it so I could stay there. Everyone seemed to be working some kind of angle. Be careful who you associate with. Multiple times swat would show up in the middle of the night and take people away. Showers were locked and only open for a couple of hours a day. If you are going to take on a job there I'd suggest anything but working with Tim.

I was told I wasn't allowed to use services there and they wouldn't even feed me! I'm a good homeless woman and they wouldn't even feed me, but it's supposedly a Christian Shelter! Smh Never again will I go there and the fact this continues to happen in Atlantic City NJ is sickening!

Yes
if I were you I would just give it away because when they receive donations it is sad with the building to be in the condition that it is in when they have money to fix it and they refuse so people you figure it out they are just using that please to clean money and to treat people badly it's sad I know I just was there and when I seen what I've seen I wanted to cry but the overhead they really really don't care you can do the same thing they are doing when they sell anything that is donated to them it is a 100% profit for somebody else's pocket think about it
Yes you can
Just a big room and only three big bags for your personal stuff a loud.
I was only there to drop off clothes
First you have to come in and join a program...and you have to say your from Atlantic county...otherwise unless your in a crisis situation they will send you back to where you came from...if you come on a freezing cold day and it's considered a "code blue day" meaning it's to cold for anyone to sleep outdoors your welcome to stay as long as code blue is in effect... otherwise they allow Atlantic county residents stay 5 days if your not in some sort of program like for alcohol, drugs or gambling...if you tell them you have a job they want a certain percent of your money...but I understand they give you the majority of it back once you find a place to live...moreover it is a serious bed bug and mice problem their so if you plan on staying over night get yourself some downy fabric softener and some off spray do you can saturate your bed and bring your own sheets if you can make sure they are unopened...
They do but it's very limited. You'll need to speak to a Chaplin.
Doors usually are locked at 930pm. I never seen anyone try to leave until the morning
