Kathy at the boat house was so friendly and informative both over the phone and in person. Lovely, clean place to visit and kayak. Next time I will pack a picnic lunch for when we arrive back on shore. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. Remember to check in and check out at the boat house. just simply give them your name and an emergency contact. Nice clean bathrooms there also. Thank you five star Kathy!

Perfect for paddle boarding or kyaking, especially for beginners because there are multiple entry and exit points and you're never too far from shore. If you head far back enough past the " island" it gets shallow but is so beautiful.

No charge to drop a kayak in. Dunno about boats. You can't swim on the west side of the park, there's a beach tag fee on the east side where you can swim and where there are life guards
Boat over 10 horsepower need a half a million dollars worth of liability insurance
No Motor Homes are permitted, the closest thing you could have is a pop up camper, but it can't have grey or dark water tanks, they do allow the "teardrop" campers.
There’s a little beach down a slope on the right where you park when you pull in before the boat house.
