While visiting Asheville my fiancé and I were wide awake at 5am and decided to do this hike! We started at the Art Center so it was just under 5 miles out and back. The elevation wasn’t terrible (we live in Florida so any bit of elevation usually kicks my butt now.) There was a suspicious person in the parking lot when we first got there that made creepy comments to me, if my fiancé wasn’t with me I probably wouldn’t have started the hike, but just for people to be aware. The view is definitely gorgeous from the top!

We enjoyed the ~4 mile hike to the overlook from the folk art center. The overlook was pretty and can be accessed by car if you don't want to hike. The hike there is mostly uphill, so be ready! (It's not bad though)
