This was the best little B&B! Right in the heart of historic downtown with the best scenery and parks! The breakfasts were incredible - among our favorite meals we had over the course of our entire 5 days in Savannah. This chef is going places! The courtyard of ETH is just magical with beautiful foliage, fountains and lights. The rooms were nice and in keeping with the time period, simple but nice and up to date where you want the updates! In addition to the daily breakfasts, there were snacks, drinks and coffee available all day, afternoon cheese and wine, and dessert every evening. Wish we had been there for dessert more than just the last night because that was the most mouth-watering German chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my life! My husband and I were the youngest couple at the b&B (we’re late 30’s) so I feel like this is a hidden gem among our age group! We much preferred staying in the slow pace of this historic area as opposed to the more popular riverfront hotels because you still have the walkability to all of those attractions and restaurants, which we did daily, but get a more quiet and scenic atmosphere where you’re staying.

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Savannah. Built in 1845, first house on the street. Gorgeous interior done in period decor.

This was my husband & I’s very first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We truly did not know what to expect, but we were presently surprised by the staff, breakfast, and extras. We stayed in the Charlton Room, which was clean, enough room to spread out and relax, and located with a beautiful view overlooking the courtyard. However, please keep in mind that the bed is higher than a traditional bed off the ground. The real highlight of our stay was waking up and having breakfast in the courtyard, shout-out to Chef Mike for the extra gluten-free bread. Staying at this BnB truly makes you feel like you are in the heart of historic Savannah! My husband & I would definitely come back!
