Had a great 5 night stay at Marshall House. The rooms are small compared to a big chain hotel, but plenty comfortable and very clean. At about 5pm each day they'll serve you free wine and have some sort of activity. Participation rate was high for this. Activities included a trivia competition (winners!) live music, and a talk on Savannah history by an expert in that field (he was really interesting!). Great way to start your night before heading out for the evening. We went 4 out of 5 nights. Special shout out to Wayne, who hosted the trivia and served up wine a few of the nights. Super nice guy, quick to refill your glass, and very funny. Breakfast for 2 is included. It's a typical hotel breakfast, nothing really special, but not bad at all. Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to river street and easy walk to the squares and historical houses just to the south of the hotel. If you are traveling without kids, you won't do better than Marshall House in Savannah.

Stayed in many, many hotels and none have been quite as memorable as The Marshall House. While many may miss some of the amenties of newer hotels such as a pool, spa, or gym, I feel like it is made up for with a character and charm that I have yet to experience with newer hotels. A friendly and helpful staff greets you at the desk; My uncle and I were on different floors when we checked in but they happily arranged us on the same floor for free. Room was pleasantly furnished with all the trimmings I could think of. Other reviews highlight the ac being loud but you have to consider the building was not built with a central ac unit and it's not a simple task to install one. In room AC worked superbly and kept it perfectly cool. Breakfasts were both excellent, plenty of option served hot and fresh. All the major attractions are within walking distance and several of the best restaurants are on the same street. 0Forgot my glasses in the room despite double checking. We received a call not 3 hours after leaving informing us of my blunder and I received my glasses the next day! Unvbelievable premier service and I cannot thank y'all enough. Would loved to have stayed longer and I will definitely stay again if and when I'm ever back in Savannah.

Didn’t actually stay here but it’s a gorgeous place.

Great, old buildings with total character! Excellent service, food. Construction nearby unfortunate, but doesn't affect the atmosphere. A bit noisy, so use the provided ear plugs. An excellent break from the standard hotel room.

They, do have an elevator.
The others here haven't played the masterpiece that is the game. Yeah, this is the Marsh house, you can even head down to River Street, there's a lot of locals from TWDS1 that you'll find in real life. Be it all throughout Savannah or even the motor inn.
It's allowed at the Marshall house
Yes! I informed them of our anniversary and they brought up champagne to our room. They charge for this service! Just let them know in your reservation notes or upon arrival. I think it's 40 dollars for Champagne! Also, it 38 dollars for valet parking which you can get your car out as many times as you would like during your stay at no extra charge, besides tip of course! Enjoy your stay!
Yes we can accommodate handicap guest we have shower benches and special rooms for such guest
No not that I know of but then again I'm a heavy sleeper. We stayed in 412 and 414 is supposed to be the room that has the most activity.
No pets
Valet is best if you dont want long walk, There is a garage 10.00 for 24 hours long walk
There is a parking garage right around the corner ( same street block as the Marshall House. Short walk (1-2 min) to lobby entrance from garage. Easy access and very reasonably priced.
If I remember correctly 420 and 421 Some say the whole 4th floor. We are night people and I can't say enough good about the Night Staff at the Marshall House. We Love them. . There are tons of Paranormal tours and we've enjoyed every single one. Try a Ghost tour with Ryan Dunn. He's excellent and does actual research. The Sorell Weed house is like a museum but offers paranormal tours daily I think. If you take a tour at the Bonaventure Cemetary..the tour Money gets donated to help keep up the Cemetery. If you happen to die in the Cemetary while you are there they bury you for free. About 44 people have been buried under this circumstance. 6th Sense puts on this tour. Hope this helps.
They may you would have to call and ask they are very helpful and accommodating
