Hampton Place is wonderful with great amenities and excellent view. However, Unit 6401 needs to upgrade its furnishings. We rent different condos at HP 4x per year. We have stayed in some lovely units but this is not one of them. The bedspreads were older, dirty and didn't appear to have been washed for quite awhile. The fitted sheets came off the beds if you turned in bed. There were pillows stacked in the closet but NO pillowcases. We had to go out and purchase pillowcases for our stay and blankets to put on the beds after we took off the dirty spreads. The floor in the main part of the condo is buckling in two different places. We were told about that only once we checked in. "Mike" phoned to inform us but basically was rude and acted as if the condo had been inspected but he had not been informed. We did not believe that. We will not rent this unit again until its furnishings are refreshed.

Yes, you can have chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Also, Shorewood Beach Patrol, located on beach, rents umbrellas per day or week. Basic price for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella runs about $200 for 7 days. No metal shovels allowed just plastic.
We stayed in an end unit next to the boardwalk. It was wonderful!!! The unit was clean and modern. I met my parents there and we stayed in a three bedroom, three bath unit.
They have two elliptical, two treadmill, a recumbent bike. Dumbbells rack, a bench, a weight machine and a floor mat.
