Just had the worst captain ds experience 10,19. Food was cold. Broccoli actually felt frozen to the touch , fried shrimp was cold. When I returned it the food was microwaved. This does not work on fried shrimp . Young ladies were nice. Kai the manager had a very nasty attitude. He is treating customers poorly. Another customer wanted more than 1 butter for a potato and was refused. Manager will not allow. We have been eating at this location for many years. Very disappointed in the change of ownership. They did away the senior discount. That's disappointing. Response from owner states Wednesday and Sunday has senior combos. I called the restaurant on Wednesday and was told there are not senior meals at this location at this time. The owner needs to speak with management and get on the same page.

Updated review (Oct 2022): very disappointed!! Wife ordered shrimp, broccoli, baked potato..shrimp was cold, broccoli was cold. I ordered fish, green beans, baked potato. Some of the green beans were very cold inside. Wife asked for new shrimp, they reheated it and reheated broccoli but the shrimp was not edible. Lead/manager (Kai) would not give a refund and had a nasty/ negative attitude. Suggestion: be very careful of your food order and ensure it has appropriate temperatures! Perhaps choose another place like we will for fish (we may try again in a few months). Sad as we have been coming to this captain Ds for many many years. Updated review (aug 2022): under new ownership. Menu is mostly the same as before. Staff is friendly and mostly new people. Service is a little slower than before. Prices are mostly similar. Food is still tasty. They keep saying, for weeks, they have senior combo (on wed and sun) but they do not. Someone posting as owner replies back saying they do, but they do not or the staff including managers do not know of any senior promotions. original review (before 2022): The food is good. Service is usually very quick. Prices are reasonable. We visit this location about 4 times a month. Drive thru orders are checked for correctness before passing out window.
