I normally don't like leaving bad reviews, but I saw Dr. McDermott last year for an X-ray, MRI, and physical evaluation. I was told I looked like I'm in good shape and that the imagining looks good, so no further treatment needed. Finally had my knee scoped today and my meniscus was literally popping in and out of place, it had to be remodeled and stitched back in place. I went an entire year in pain because I simply was not believed about my condition, not to mentioned this is a service-connected injury, terrible way to be treated after serving for 8 years. I wouldn't come waste the doctor's time unless I knew something was definitely wrong with my body and in this case, my left knee.

I recently had a left hip replacement by Dr. McDermott I totally recommend him. My hip feels brand new and stronger then ever. I would like to say that I was very nervous but his staff comforted me. Any surgery is scarry but I felt like my family was the staff. Glory to God, Dr. McDermott and his staff.

BEWARE! It has been several years since my botched knee replacement by McDermott. I am still suffering from the worst surgical experience of my life.. McDermott finally admitted, at the one-year post-op appointment, that he had installed the wrong size "spacer" (later confirmed by a good othopedic surgeon that Mcdermott's error was 40% off!) Still, Mcdermott refused to back up his work....Astounding. Although, in retrospect, I do not trust him and would never deal with him again, so he has actually done me a favor Be smart. READ ALL OTHER REVIEWS and find a find an honest and competent surgeon.... IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY INTEGRITY. WHAT DO YOU HAVE?
