Owner was very nice and the housekeeping was great. Rooms were nice and clean and the location was super great. Never underestimate motels in small towns of NC. We recommend this one.

The owner is stern but fair. He is always willing to lend a helping hand. He also pays generously for doing any jobs for him. Rooms are nice and neat and the service ladies are extremely helpful. Thanks for always being there for us.

The knobs on the a/c were broke, no idea what the thermostat was set on, had to adjust that for a while till it was right, wallpaper falling off, no phone in the room, but an option to call the room when you call the hotel, and it even rings!! Toilet takes forever to flush and smells when it does flush. Not the most horrible I've ever seen, bit def not the best.

The rooms up front are the cheap rooms for about $35. I'm not exactly sure because we get the ones in the back for $50. They are somewhat clean but the rooms in the front are disgusting from what I remember. In the back you have cable, mini fridge (with nothing inside), and a microwave. The bathroom is ok. I'll just say you literally get what you pay for.
