I've seen ppl try, but idk how much youd actually get with how fast t hff e water moves. Best bedt is to go up the street to the chattahoochee river & fish
There is a bigger parking area near the entrance where a truck 🚚 can park. However past the stop sign, parking can get tricky and close quarters for bigger vehicles.
No, lots of tree roots and even the paved parts have a lot of slopes. There’s maybe 0.25 paved miles with a gentler slope at the beginning where you could walk to see the view though.
It's a 1-3 minute walk from the parking lot to the main landing area where the bridge is. You can choose to cross the bridge, take the stairs, and then walk the elevated scenic route which would take 10 minutes. If you choose to not cross the bridge you can walk alongside the water - that terrain is significantly flatter, and would be an easier 8-10 minutes.
Hey, sorry I dont think so you can grill over there.
Can you bring small grill?

I don't know if you CAN. However, I've seen people do it 🤷🏿♂️
- Are there public restrooms available?
- Would the trails be safe and a walkable distance for a 7 yr old?
- If we want to walk under the falls, are water shoes/bathing suits suggested?
- Any tips or hidden gems you’d suggest?
Thanks!

Yes there are restrooms and I highly recommend the shoes! Wear a bathing suit under your clothes. Our 8 yr old grandson had a blast.
Are you allowed to have a camp fire or tiki torches?

I'm not sure, there isnt much area for a camp site though. More like beach vibes.
really excited to visit this place tomorrow , but I have a few questions, this was a last minute idea (just decided 10 minutes ago)
1. is there a number to call
2. do I need to make an appointment
3. do I just show up and start hiking
