Worse place to pull your permit. They holding projects for several months by always loosing submitted paperwork, requesting same papers several times, sent you a confirmation on receiving but after a couple of weeks telling you they did not receive it. They just don’t care of the community and homeowners at all

Honestly I don't even think this place deserves one star for the service they have given our family. It is known that Georgia has one of the most complicated permitting systems in the country, and that has been made very apparent over the past 2 months. Firstly, they will not even tell you what they require for the permits; only a rough idea, meaning that whatever you turn in can get denied simply because they did tell you how they wanted it formatted. Secondly, after our first permit was denied we hired an architect and a contractor to help fill out the permits so it was supposedly all done correctly. This did not even help. The permit office of Roswell has said that they will let us know within 5 days. Well, it has been 1 week with their only response has been that they will have it out by "tomorrow". It seems that they do not know the meaning of the word tomorrow. I understand that this is a public office and that there is no where else I could take your business, but I just wanted to display my absolute dislike of this place because it has put our family under enormous stress in a time where there is already great stress. Thank you.

Questions & Answers

I have installed a sub panel in my attached garage. I did not pull an initial permit, but I realize that I should have done so. Can I get a permit on this work? Would really like to get this inspected. Kind Regards

You can pull an electrical permit as the homeowner. Fill out the Property Owner Trade affidavit, bring in a copy of your warranty deed showing proof of ownership and you can get your permit the same day and also schedule your inspection.
