If you want the best Southern cooking around this bright green building is the place to go. You can't beat the fried chicken. Excellent choice of vegetables, southern style. This is a place with basic tables and chairs, so you might not choose it for a date unless your partner wants real soul food. Automatic for the people!

A true hole in the wall. Fried chicken was excellent along with the baked chicken which my wife had. Mac and cheese was fantastic and many sides to choose from. Dog friendly as there was a small park next door with tables along the river. I think our dogs enjoyed as much as we did. A great place to eat if your in Athen and want some good ole country cookin!
