I stayed at this KOA campground one night while making a fall drive on the Blueridge Parkway. It is located near the Parkway and close to the interstate. They even had someone escort me to my site. The site I had was cozy with full hookups. This campground even had a restaurant that sells smoke meat and other things. I didn't get a chance to try. There is a dump station located in an outhouse. They gave the standard hose for cleaning, a dumpster and air pump for tires. They listed a dog park as an amenity but I arrived late an didn't see it.

Best KOA and possible the best campground we have ever stayed at. Great staff, amazingly clean and modern bathrooms. Pulled pork and pulled beef sandwiches delivered right to our campsite. They even picked up my wife in their golf cart so she could do the laundry at the main laundry room. Great location right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I can’t say enough good things about this campground! Can’t wait to come back!

Yes they have several tent sites. We paid around $39.00/per night and that's with 6 people. If you have a large family try requesting site 40. It's a great spot!
Yes. One close to the main bathrooms is very nice with a tent pad.

Not sure if they're open year round. Would be best to call them and check on availability. I looked at the website and they will close November 15th.
The entrance is practically pkwy entrance. There r lots of biking going on.
