Sites were all well spaced. Back ins were mostly shaded and had concrete pads that looked level. Pull thrus were open with no shade gravel pads and narrow when pulling out due to a ditch on that side. It gets a little tight due to sites in front of you so watch the ditches when leaving. Road through the campground could use some work, pretty rough. Nice laundry, decent shower house, and a nice lake nearby. It does have a few small alligators so keep an eye on kids and pets. Saw a few snakes in the area as well, to be expected when you're in the woods in the south. Not a bad location to visit Savannah from but not much to do in the immediate area. Good exchange, commissary, and gym on base.

Quiet area. Fishing, playground, basketball court. At least 3 closed end screen areas. We had a family reunion there and a live band. Clean restrooms.

Great facility! We took our grandchildren to fish. Since I don’t fish I enjoyed the scenery.

Some shade, close to the bank to fish from under would make this a five star rating. Stocking the pond would also probably help. Fished for 4 hours and caught 1 bluegill.

It is good for fishing, however you do need a fishing liscense because it is a public place. It doesn't matter which spot you want to fish at, one place can be just as good or as bad as the next spot. Just beware of alligators, the waters are infested with them. This answer is based on what I have seen, and my experience there.
