I attended Park Baptist about 3 years for about a year. Many nice people that attend that church. I was going thru a terrible divorce and I asked the pastor and associate pastor to pray for me more than once. They knew basically everything that had happened to me thru this 10 year process of trying to get closure. I was finally able to get a divorce just recently. I wrote on my windows of my car “just divorced!” When I attended VBS there just recently, the associate pastor greeted me in the church. He asked me was that my car. I told him yes “that’s my car.” I was parked in the very far part of the parking lot away from the church. He told me NOT to park in the church parking lot because he didn’t want folks to think the church promotes divorce. He never, ever offered to pray for me. I walked outside of the church feeling so hurt and the pastor looked me in my face and never uttered a word to me. Not a prayer or one word of encouragement from either one of those pastors. It would’ve meant so much to me had they prayed with me before I left that evening. There was more concern about what was written on my car windows who might possibly see it, than my very own soul. I never went back to finish out that week of VBS. No one yet has called from the church to check on me either. Just feeling so hurt and disappointed. I do want to mention that I spoke to someone that attends Park, and she’s been very concerned about the way this was handled. I really appreciate this sweet lady and her family.

I truly enjoyed the service at Park Bapisit church. My daughter and son-in-law as me to come visit. Great Church to go to. I have my own Church that I attend that’s why I am not a member at this one. I feel that God’s word is preached and sang and shown at Park Bapisit church.
