I went to have a battery replaced. Took well over an hour and three people circled around my car to finally get it installed. At first I was told the negative terminal was frozen and they couldn't get it around the battery. Eventually they realized the battery was in backwards (and thankfully the Germans who designed my VW made the negative terminal purposely smaller than the positive so it would only go on the right side.) Battery replaced and there were several lights and diagnostic codes when I first started my car, which no one knew how to fix. I ended up bothering my mechanic after hours to get everything working again. I thought everything was fine so I went home, then realized I was charged a core charge that was never returned. Drove back 20 miles to get my core charge returned. Which I do not understand why it was ever charged to begin with as the battery was installed onsite. Terrible experience over what should be a simple battery swap.

I visited two other stores in search of a loaner tool, both claimed to have. Wasted time. They had it, and I was out the door fast. The ( kids ) may not know your car, but they know their business. You will get what you need, the first time...

Depends on where you live. Is it the bank 1 sensor or the bank 2 sensor. I would take a temperature gun with the vehicle running and see how hot the pipe is before the catalytic converter. Then see how hot the catalytic converter get after you have let the car warm up. The catalytic converter should get way hotter than the exhaust pipe coming off of the engine. If the engine side stays hotter than the catalytic converter, then your O2 sensor is not the problem. The problem is a failed catalytic converter. When an O2 sensor reads out of range it is usually telling you that something is wrong. It could be a failed sensor by not usually.
I suggest going to the website. They have prices and availability posted. It's what I do before going to the store.
Try calling them. I don't think they check this.
