I’m not sure who this David Brewer that gave this place a 2 star review is? Not even a comment? Let me tell you…This winery is Wonderful! What an amazing atmosphere and the wine selection is terrific. We have been many times and always have enjoyed ourselves. The owners Richard and Laura are so friendly and always make us feel so welcome. The best destination in Newberry County. Can’t wait to visit again.!

My friend and I have decided we're going to start a winery adventure. We're playing many in the future and this was our 2nd one on the list. We did the wine tasting today and enjoyed it. Nice variety of wines that we tried. This winery is very clean and organized. They have nice merchandise and we enjoyed our time with Mr. Richard. He was very knowledgeable and we learned new things about wines, grapes, muscadines and African animals...or those we thought were and aren't. :)

Great atmosphere and great wine. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking a glass of wine. Will be sure to return.

Yes, under 21 can be admitted but of course, would not be allowed to taste wine. We do have water and soft drinks available for purchase as well. Thanks.
Enoree River Winery does use stainless steel for aging. We grow red muscadine (Noble), white muscadine (Carlos) and Black Spanish (Lenoir) in the 8 acre vineyard, as well as other experimental grape varieties. We do oak some of our red vinifera varieties, as well. We do not age in oak barrels because the majority of our customers prefer sweet and fruit-forward wines. We import juice for the vinifera varieties that we cannot grow in our area of S.C. but we do all of the fermentation, aging, bottling onsite. All of our wines are produced and bottled onsite.
Drop ins with reservation requested for large groups so that they can prepare.
